Finally........

Finally, I got the opportunity to see the snow showers in Coventry here for the second time...The first time happened when I was in Spain..so, i don't have the chance to see snow raining here for the very first time..I only saw some snow along the roadsides and top of buildings on my way back to Liberty Park...

Alas, the day that I waited had finally come...Early in the morning at about 9 am, I received a phone call from my bestfriend, asking me to look outside window...I saw it, but the snow wasn't as heavy as later on..I went outside for a while and went back to sleep..Then, at around 11am, my phone rang again, but this time was from another friend of mine....I pushed over my curtains and the snow shower was heavy! Lots of snow falling from the sky!! How beautiful it was!!! Gladly that God gave me the second chance to watch this wonderful phenomenon......

At 1.oo pm, I went out to the city centre...buying present for my good friend here..Today is going to be her surprise! Haha.......I liked the moment when the snow dropped on my hair and sweater...It looked so 'cute'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I think about this friend, sometimes I get annoyed either by her expression and words..
Sometimes, I do feel that she is no different at all from the friend I have in mind...Their personalities are actually the same!!!!!! What is the difference?? Be sincere with your heart please!!!

I'm sure that everyone is familiar with this saying...words only are not enough..take actions please!!! If you want something, then go for yourself! Don't keep saying about this and that...

And please be careful of your words...Even though your friend is close to you, he does have feeling too!!! Even me myself felt hurt on behalf of my friend when I heard those words...sarcasm..huh!

P/s: Just want to pour out my dissatisfaction towards this friend of mine.....sorry about this..I know it's not good to judge other people, as I'm not perfect too....... :(

For only the second time in nearly two decades, December will end with Earth illuminated by a "Blue Moon," the name given to the second full moon appearing in a single month.

For New Year's revellers in the Western hemisphere, the calendar will not quite have turned into the new decade when the perfectly round orb lights up the night sky.

Not since 1990 has the world had the opportunity to observe on a mass scale the compounded impact of a Blue Moon and bubbly.

The double full moon phenomenon happens on average every 2.7 years, with the most recent in May 2007, and the next set for August 2012.

This month, the moon was also at its maximum on December 2.

Why Blue? For no particular reason, according to Space.com, a popular science website based in the United States.

"If there's been a recent volcanic eruption that poured significant ash into the upper atmosphere, it is possible for the moon to take on a blue tint," noted the site's editorial director Robert Roy Britt.

"That's not expected tonight," he added, as if by way of apology.

It also turns out that the term "blue moon" is a misnomer that can be traced back to an editorial blooper 65 years ago in the normally irreproachable magazine Sky and Telescope.

The original meaning was the third full moon in a season with four, a more common occurrence.

There is also a cocktail -- curacao, gin and a twist -- by that name, and a turn of the (20th) century expression meaning something absurd.

And, of course, there are those things, like a double full moon, that only happen once in a....

Boxing Day!

Boxing day- big sales for clothes!!! :P Boxing day is celebrated the day after Christmas..It's a tradition in the West...

Today was the shopping day for clothing! Sales were everywhere! Haha...I almost went for the whole day...from morning till evening..hehe..pity my housemate who was with me at that time...can't really make decision on which shirt was the worth-it-to-be-bought....I only bought the shirts during the second time I went back to those shops...huhu...

Haha..I bought 4 shirts today, one for myself, one for sister, one for brother and one for little bro...:P Hope the sizes fit them well..This was really the first time I bought shirts for my family...

Unfortunately, I realized that the shirts bought for my brothers were a bit too small..huhu..I'm going to refund at the shops tomorrow...hyhhh..Hope I can change it with a bigger size...

X'mas dinner...:D

Today, I had a very nice Christmas dinner with my housemates...Received card and chocolate in the morning...hahhaha

So, what were the recipes for the dinner??? Haha..quite a lot...it's actually the first time we cooked special big dishes like that..hahha..Mashed potatoes, garlic bread with mushroom soup, roasted black pepper chicken, fillet fringes and cheese breads...And for the drink, we had both red and white grape sparkling juices! Of course, dessert was included too, which was blueberry truffles....hahaha...all were cheap stuffs bought from Iceland, but they were really tasted nice!!! Luckily, all the first time dishes worked out..haha...

Grateful to have housemates like them...Afiq, Vee Vien and Aqili......and last but not least,

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!! And Boxing Day for tomorrow!!! :D

Adios! Espana!

Sorry for not updating my blog in such a long time already...hehehe

So, what's the story now? I just came back from Spain few days ago...I went for a week, started straight away after holiday (13 December to 20th December)...wow...really enjoyed the trip so much....especially when we travelled in such a big group and also with close friends...

7 gentlemen, 7 ladies...the members of this adventurous trip, with the help of one senior, named Akmal!!! He was such a good tourist guide and driver for us!!!
Members of the group: Akmal, Afiq, Kamal, Anuar, Firdaus, Syakir, Azri (BOYS)
Vee Vien, Shoba, Mei Ling, Wazzup, Mek, Zhi San, Sue (GIRLS)

Who was the driver? 3 guys.. (Akmal, Afiq and Anuar)...they were such a great drivers, but pity them..they could not have much sleep because had to drive for us days and nights...The journey was very tiring and adventurous! Superb! This trip had changed my perception on travelling...I didn't like travelling much beforehand...Now, I want it again..with the same group!!!

Now, I really missed our group members so much...There were 4 of them who were not from Warwick..Zhi San, Sue, Syakir (Nottingham) and Azri (Birmingham)...Hyhhhh....Felt really grateful to meet them......:)

How many countries we went? 4 altogether...Spain, Gibraltar, Andorra and France (Perpignan only, haven't seen the Eiffel Tower yet...) All those countries were really beautiful and we really had a good sightseeing on that....

Andorra, the country where we played snow and skiing...hahhaha...This was the first time I could see the proper snow and touched it...and the weather was extremely cold..until you couldn't feel anything on your hands and face....

For Gibraltar, we went for a rock tour...and went to the peak of the mountain...wow, we could see Spain and Morrocco from the place! Really beautiful!!! (Night scenery..and the wind was so strong!!!..huhu)

For France (Perpignan), I slept off in the car..hahhaha...because it was too cold at night!!! Actually I couldn't sleep at all...because I needed more blankets please!!!! huhuhuhu....

And lastly Spain, the first country we went, I really gained a lot of experiences from the country..really a lot...It was such a great memoir to be together when we faced problems...We ate breads, slept in the car (2 nights), found the hostels, and took photos!! Besides that, the biggest problem that we faced was COMMUNICATING WITH THE SPANISH PEOPLE!!!

Not many of the Spanish people knew English...That's why we had to learn a bit Spanish before we go for the trip...hahhaa...Now I know the feeling of being a second language learner...It's not that easy!!! Seriously!!!! Miss Spanish language now..huhu

And not forget also the sign boards in Spain were all in Spanish....Nonetheless, we got our Akmal and the other drivers!!

There were lots of memories here...the most scariest part is one of our friends, Afiq, met with a scary guy who kept asking for something...because the guy misunderstood that Afiq took a video of him...but actually he was taking a video for our group...huhu...pity him...I'm afraid something would happen at that time...Luckily, we managed to escape from the guy at the end..and we drove far away from that place..(Mob is a culture in Spain)..So, it's really scary and not safe at all after we met with the incident...The place seems like didn't have the sense of security for us anymore (Barcelona)..huhuhu....

In Andorra (if not mistaken), we parked at the wrong place...and we get fined for that..over 200 euros...hooh!!! What a day for us...hahahha...unexpected...hehhehe...

Before I forget, I want to tell that the security check in for the airport in Birmingham is damn strict!!!!!!! First, we have to bring only one cabin luggage! (Even our handbags also have to put into that luggage) and the size for the cabin luggage is really limited!!!! hoooooohhh....They won't let you go if you don't abide to the rules...

Christmas Carol + Frankfurt Market "2 in One"!!!!

Wow...today's trip was extremely nice for me..There was a theatre going on in Birmingham - CHRISTMAS CAROL..I couldn't expect that the theatre would be so GRAND, NICE and SUPERB! Play+musical...really very nice...the light effect, sound effect, props, backdrops, actors and actresses; all were PERFECT! huhuhu...unfortunately, no photo takings were allowed. It was restricted...UK, UK....

Another thing..the Frankfurt Market! I wouldn't expect that the bus will stop us near the market..the GERMAN MARKET...specially held for Christmas sales...wah...I saw lots of stuffs that captured my eyes, but the prices wouldn't allow me to buy them..hyhhh.....what a beautiful night Christmas market and theatre that I had seen...I was so grateful that I went for the play...The clappings were so loud at the end of the theatre...everyone was impressed and amused by it...even me too.........Amazing.... :D

Hyhh...Sunday took place already..another weekend passed...so fast......huhu.

Hyhh...suddenly the issue of finding houses for summer came in...I enjoyed staying here so much and I could actually extend my let to summer..but the price for staying here made me think a lot...and all my flatmates and I were very close to one another....

Nonetheless, we need to separate......hyhh...what a pity...As for me, anything goes...as long as I feel comfortable with them all...so sad!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed living with them!

Now, I'm stuck in between...Really having a headache now...Just staying for only two months here, but have to think of renting houses next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Argghhhhhh!!! I can't even concentrate on my study.......huhuhu....... :(

haha..today is the birthday of a friend of mine..one of my close friends and my housemate too...hahha...we did celebrate his birthday yesterday, but we purposely made it an hour later...means at 1.00 am!!! hahaha...how sad he was when the clock struck at 12 sharp at that time...no one knocking on door, no coursemates wishing on facebook and the night just passed by like that..hahhaha

What a surprise for him.He really felt happy when we celebrated his birthday..haha...hit by eggs somemore..hahhahahha.......

Just a couple of minutes ago, I watched this awesome touching movie, especially the the scenes prepared for the farewell...I did cry a lot, and I'm sure you will experience that too if you watched it...The storyline is very interesting and unpredictable....it's really nice and worth of having a look on this story....This movie made me thought a lot of relationships involved in our lives here....Life is life.........

The End of 'Reading WEEK'

Hooohhh...7.15am..the time that I had finished all my tasks and assignments ( i think so..)...What a rush that I had made..I didn't sleep at all for the whole night trying to finish them before the morning sun of Sunday arises...Finally, I made it...Thanks God...

Next time, I should really organise my time well...Nonetheless, I felt grateful that I had this reading week. All these tasks and assignments were really brushing up my language and made me revised on what I had learned...Ohhh...my neck felt a bit painful now because sitting in front of laptop for almost 24 hours!!!!

Time to have a good rest!! :)

Starting of Reading Week...

Huhu...alas, it's reading week now...I thought it would be a lovely week for me to enjoy myself beforehand...However, things seem coming forward unexpectedly...There are a lot of work and assignments waiting for me! ARGHHHHH!!!! Actually, it's not a reading week for me, but WORKING week!

Besides that, I have to carry out an interview for the international students regarding on my portfolio entry..huhu..How busy will I be this week...didn't like it at all...

I should really start to finish my work now..one by one..hopefully i will have a nice weekend for this week... :(

P/S: My friend's friend have regained conscious from coma right now..Thanks God...:)

Class trip - WARWICK CASTLE

Today is my special day...My birthday, with lots of wishes and love from my friends and family..really like it so much.. THANK YOU GUYS! hehehe

Warwick Castle! It's nice! Feels like go back into the movies...so happy that I can actually go to a castle during my big day.....but it's raining a while after that..and the weather is damn cold..until my bone can feel it..huhuh...

It has been a long time since we ever go as a class trip..really love the memories when we go travelling together...We had not been anywhere together this year as we had to prepare hard for our foundation final exam...huhuhuh..Glad that we got such an opportunity again! :)

A prayer for my friend's friend.......

Today, we received a shocking news..my friend's friend had an accident this evening and he was in ICU right now..He was still in comma, and his condition was badly injured..The doctor also said, prayer was the only way now..I knew him too..so I did feel upset when i heard the news..He was a nice guy...

So, friends...Please pray together with me that he could win over this challenge...May God bless him...Hope everything will turn better...

Halloween Day VS Nottingham Games!

31st October 2009...one of the biggest event in Western country..Halloween Day!! Happy Halloween to all! :)

On the other hand, Nottingham Games took place during this day too! It's a big event where all Malaysians from all over the country meet together and join this game..It took one and a half hour to reach Nottingham from my place..huhu..What a rush I had made this morning!! Suppose to depart from Liberty Park at 5.15am, but I woke up only at 5.10am!!!! Oh my god...luckily still reached the pick-up station on time...I didn't even have time to eat my breakfast, but still quikly threw dome biscuits and medicine into my bag..and then had a fast walk towards the bus station which took us 20 minutes to reach...Thanks God...

The scenery in Notts is really picturesque and full of arts value..I met with some old friends here. I really enjoyed the time with them...I couldn't imagine that I actually have the chance to meet them! hahhahah :)

On the way back to hostel, around 10.35pm, I saw a lot of people wearing halloween costumes...

Birmingham! Go for China Town!

Wow..Today was really a day for fiesta!!! We went to Birmingham, which is a 20 minutes journey from Coventry by train... This was the first time I ate for so much, till my stomach felt painful..hahha..£5.99 per person..it's absolutely worth it....

Now, my cravings for Chinese dishes have gone...got a variety of food there...beef, chicken, sizchuan noodles, meat balls, fried rice, sausages,char siew, ice cream, chocolate cake, salad, fruits, coconut milk, red beans and so forth...I really couldn't take it but ate a lot..seized the food here and there...hahhaha...

Anyway, I enjoyed the time here while travelling with my best friends..so long I didn't spend such a happy moment with them already...That's was the main reason why I liked this journey, although we didn't manage to visit some of the historical places there like the others..Chatting and creating fun moments with them is much more important than the others...Yeah!!!!!!! :)

The starting of winter season...

Today is the first day of winter here...Nonetheless, the snow hasn't come yet..maybe in December only then I can see how the snow looks like...There is one theory I couldn't understand about..Why the people here need to rewind their clocks (including me) one hour earlier? It started on 2.00am yesterday...Then I need to adjust my time again to 1.00am..Why???

The breeze is getting colder and colder..That is the sign of the becoming winter season. I went out this morning and finally bought my own printer...yeah...Next time, I wouldn't have to go to the campus earlier to get my printing done..

I still have not bought my winter jacket yet. Yesterday I found one, but it's £40 in price. I had to think twice when I saw the price tag. I'm afraid of buying the wrong one..huhu...

Despair of humanity..

Today, I learned something negative, yet it's too undeniable to be trusted in our lives. Best friends are everywhere, but true friends are hard to find indeed...

A lot of changes happened here. Class is being shuffled randomly again to form new group members. There is a new grouping or 'gang' whenever it comes to group work. Old friends are no more clinging to each other. 'They' have their own partners or new groups. There are some close friends of mine, but I can sense that the distance between us is growing further apart everyday.

Still, I admired and saluted so much one of my boyfriends. He was one of my best friend here. However, he was the one who did not portray the personality of hypocrisy. He was a very honest and straightforward guy. He could survive on his own, I believe I could achieve that level too. Only time matters. Why I said "despair of humanity"? Because of the changes...relationship between friends..and that was the main reason why I want to be independent and brave enough to stand alone...

I did not want to talk about the incident on why I got this kind of 'negative' perspective..maybe it's not a bad thing at all....I learn...we learn........

However, I know that I am not alone each time... I know that God is with me, watching over me....

Leamington Spa

Today, I went to Leamington Spa right after I finished my individual tutorial. It's was half an hour journey from my university. My main purposes for this visit were:

-A part from travelling
-buying my winter jacket
-buying a printer

Unfortunately, only the first objective could be accomplished..the other two? I tried my very best to look for it, however, the ridiculous prices set me down. They were too expensive!!! Money-sucker I can said.....
For example, the winter jacket costs around £40 to £90, while a Canon printer can be £40, excluded from the ink cartridge and printer cables..oh my goodness....

Hopefully, there are someone who will be going to the car boot sale this weekend..I really want to get some cheap stuffs there......huhu

The Irony...

Today I learned something...the irony of friendliness..somehow, I realized that I was not mature enough in my way of thinking, in the sense of imagining the 'truth' and 'reason' that lied behind..

When someone is trying to be nice to you, it's not necessarily good.
When someone is trying to be nice to you, it might be the 'truth' that he/ she wants to cover up.
When someone is trying to be nice to you, he/ she might want to 'drag' you along to the club.
When someone is trying to be nice to you, it might be the 'guilt' that stems from the heart.
When someone is trying to be nice to you, he/ she might be the forgiveness seeker...

That's the irony here.....Nonetheless, always be optimistic in mind..it's much more better..only if you are too 'innocent' enough to be fooled..

STRATFORD...Shakespeare's Birthplace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was really an adventurous day for me!!!!!!! Stratford, here I come!!!! I could not imagine that I could GO and SEE for myself the beautiful and classical birthplace of William Shakespeare! The Elizabethan era, Sonnet 18, still remember??

7 landmarks of Stratford; Shakespeare Birthplace, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre (The Globe-Shakespeare's perfomances), Anne Hathaway's Cottage (Shakespeare's wife), Hall's Croft (Home of Suzanna, Shakespeare daughter), Nash's House (the place where Shakespeare died), Mary Arden's Farm and Holy Trinity Church ( Shakespeare's Graveyard is here!!!)... The only place that we missed out is the Mary Arden's Farm, as we didn't have much time to travel..The time we took to Anne Hathaway's Cottage was superb long...Luckily, we managed to catch the last bus back to Coventry at 6.15pm...Reached home at around 8.oo pm...

It's really a worth-to-it journey. The scenery and landscape there were extremely beautiful and full of uniqueness...really obsessed to it..

Second Week passed by...

Alas, it's Friday already..It was a really exasperate week for me...Study 4 days per week, but free on Wednesday...However, there will be some individual tutorials on Wednesday... I really want to have a good rest.

The course subjects are getting tougher and higher level, particularly on Sociolinguistic and Second Language Acquisition...Owh...I did not like this..Even the phonology part drives me mad...

When it came to group work, I didn't like it..as I felt that I didn't contribute of that much brilliant and superb ideas to my group..There are some 'dominants' in my group who really score high in their way of thinking and pouring ideas..I felt like a bit left out...huhu...
Deep in my heart, I could only praying that I could reach that level as soon as possible...I am still learning, I know that..........................

10/10/09...so, today was the biggest day for my big brother! Happy graduation day, bro!!! Congratulations!!!

Unfortunately, I couldn't go to his convocation, as it was held on October...I believed that I could share his happiness if the convocation could be held on a bit earlier, as like other universities....but, what a luck.......

I still got my hotdog lip from yesterday onwards, haven't recover yet...I wonder why I was allergic to the Neutrogena lipbum...What was the 'illegal' stuff right there??
This was the first time I was allergic to something...

The lady doctor gave me two options, either apply vaseline or consume Piriton tablets..So, I bought the medicine and tried it on..It's getting a bit better now, but still not my normal lips..feeling weird and dry...

One thing I dislike here is the PLAIN WATER...It tasted WEIRD..so, actually I didn't drink much plain water right here because of its taste..I would love to drink plain water, however, the taste refrained me to do so..Hence, most probably I would mix some blackcurrant juice in it..(it helps me to get off my dizziness sometimes..)

Hmmm...I miss home so much...I can eat whatever I want, cook whatever recipe that stung in my mind...These few days, I couldn't manage my diet well..especially when I had to travel by bus to my university everyday..only yesterday i ate my first RICE dish here...really didn't have energy if I didn't eat rice for days...only ate maggies for the past few days..

Hyhh..each time I got into the bus, I felt dizzy several minutes later on...travelling sickness again..I really don't like the feeling..Feeling dizzy but have to travel again...For instance, today, my roommate and I forgot to get down on the correct pit stop..As a result, we had to walk far enough till we found our hostel...I had not eaten my lunch yet, that's why I got my gastric..damn painful...but still had to walk and walk with my gastric and dizziness before we reached the hostel...huhu...

So, right after I got into my room, I just lied down on my bed and wanna had a good rest..but the hunger+gastric led me to the kitchen and cooked some food to fill my stomach first, even though i was damn fatigue that day..........

Somehow, I figured out that it's hard to find a good buddy at your side all the times, especially the one who truly cares on your feelings and needs. Maybe I myself didn't portray as a good friend though.

What a tiring flight and procedures that I have went on...

The Heathrow airport here is really different from KLIA..It's huge, long and complicated (however some parts are systematic)...
For the first time, I took such a long journey...(11.55pm until 1.15pm on the next day, however the MAS services provided are excellent)
For the first time, I saw so many foreigners there...
For the first time, I need to adapt in such a cold country...( I'm so shock of the wind/ breeze there)
For the first time, I need to communicate to the white people ( some of them could be understood, some speaks really fast, and some I could only understand halfly...hyhhhh...)

I felt inferior since I arrived here. I admitted that I was not really that PRO in LISTENING to native white people...I felt scared and nervous..huhu...I tried my very best to get use of the environment and new life there...

Ok...so I would like to stop here fora while...continues on the next day. My shoulder felt damn tired after walked here and there...........

I was so full for tonight's dinner!!! Wah...until I got stomachache..haha..maybe I drank too much ice water..

Tonight, I was having my dinner at a small restaurant..for the mooncake celebration dinner of Cantonese Association...Going there before 6pm, but had to wait until 7pm to get the first dish served...haha..I was deadly hungry at that time...

The ceremony ended at around 9pm, with the Mooncake jelly served as the last special dish...the duration of time was really enough for me..otherwise I would get bored sitting there...especially with so many 'strangers'....hehe..

A Visit..

Tonight, my uncle and his family dropped by my house...wanna pay a visit before they go back to Bintulu....Time really slips fast...the eldest one (girl) even almost reached the same height with me...and the second eldest (boy) seems very shy towards me..not like when they were small, always clung to me...

The small kids are really damn cute, especially the smallest....and the smaller they are, the naughtier they be..hehe...
It's really have been a long time since the last time i saw them....

Well...I was fit to be tied when problems came to bother me again...I was really getting sick into it. Facing with my accommodation problem again...hyhh...don't want to talk about it anymore...:(

Reflective "journal" for today...

My reflection for today:

I was late for the church service today...( couldn't start my motorbike this morning...don't know how many attempts I had tried already...uncountable..) But, it started at the end...I almost get angry with that..hahaha

After coming back from church, I want to continue my sleep, however fails. Got to go out with my mum and settled some of my important things. One of them; getting the meningitis and influenza vaccination from the doctor..Two injections today...one on the right and another on the left..haha..still couldn't escape that painful feeling by the time the needle met with my flesh...

Soon after that, my uncle brought us back to our old village...Today, I took a lot of photos to be kept in my memory album...especially when I got the chance to see how they roasted the pig's meat traditionally..for my very first time...really lovable memories...

The only thing I disliked was the journey..still having my old unchangeable travelling sickness, my head felt dizzy right after I got down the car...hyhh...

Raya celebration..

Hmmm...12.ooam..the official day for raya celebration has finally come..Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.....the merry sound of firecrackers travels in the air..but not as exaggerating as the one played during the night before Chinese New Year...Maybe the factor of raining decides all these...it's raining now, but not a heavy drenching rain...but still it affects...

I knew TODAY may serve as a nice and joyous day for some people..but not for all...some might not have that feeling or mood...things seem like to come unpredictably...

Just checked my mail...seeing the email really brighten my heart a bit.. Alas, we are not homeless now...Thanks God...

Though it is not on-campus, I am glad to hear that our accommodation is being taken care by them. Liberty Park, our last choice seems...92 pounds/ week..paid in 3 instalments...

Hyhh...the rental cost is quite expensive though, no choice....will try very hard to spend our allowances wisely there...

Huh...just finished my online enrolment...It's really a LONG process to go...10 stages altogether..thanks God...I was afraid that I would fail to log in again for the second attempt...They only granted us three chances only. Luckily...at least I had get this done..Some of my coursemates still having problem to access in.. Hopefully they can enrol successfully tomorrow...I knew that kind of feeling...kinda horrid feeling, anyone wouldn't like it..

As for the accommodation problem, we were still waiting for the news. The government was trying to negotiate with the people there. Pray that they would deliver us some good news...hyhhh....really worn-out and full of worries these days.....

Anyway, I was happy that I had done my enrolment.. Grateful for it... :)

Another lighting strikes over us...

Okay, what's now...we've got the recent news...Guess what? I really don't care whether the rental cost there is expensive or not..I just want to have a place to stay right after I'm there later on...hyhhh...

For now, we've the problem to book our accommodation. There is no way for us to book online, except by postal delivery...to UK there...and before 21st some more... I really dislike all these now, hate that... Now, I don't have the mood to go there anymore, after going through so many obstacles. We've to print out the forms and filling them up...no choice...and i really hate in filling forms since we did the same for our VISA application. Those forms are not easy to fill in, trust me...always keep us in fear all the time.

The ONE-SHOT payment is the newest enigma for us right now, puzzling and haunting our minds. We're asked to make a SINGLE PAYMENT, one-shot for one year accommodation fees! We couldn't choose the instalment payment right now, as we did not have any guarantor with us...How are we going to survive then...fainted.

Frankly, I really hoped that there would be no more bad news reaching our ears after this. I just want to spend these remaining days blithely....May God bless us... :(

Today, I received a shocking news...an astounding email from my university there..Guess what? I didn't get the on-campus accommodation there...My heart breaks into pieces right now. Why I got such a bad luck? Everything doesn't seems to go through smoothly...Anyway, not only me, but almost my whole course mates didn't get it...Everyone is panicking...How hapless we are...What's the problem actually?

In previous statement, they stated that they would guarantee us a place right there if we apply the accommodation before the deadline..PS: First year undergraduates- for sure!.... We really did it! Although we applied quite late (waiting for our offer letter), but we managed to do it before the deadline...And NOW....arghhhh.....we are amongst the 145 first year undergraduates who didn't get the offer! SO DISCONSOLATE!!!!!!!!! :(

However, the university offered us a place outside the campus...IT'S A LONG WAY OFF from our campus...have to take bus some more... And the rental cost is 92 pounds/ week!!! (Because it is en-suite) Everything is not convenient as I thought before now....hyhhh...Don't know what to do now...Have to start a new planning then.. A new challenge awaiting us there....

This morning, I was going off to the town...with my mum... I was riding a motorcyle...and stopped at the Fortuna junction there...waiting for no cars to cross to the opposite side of the road...Got a black Kenari waiting at my back...DAMN IT!!!! I haven't cross fully and "SHE" want to press the oil already!!! SO, her car hit the back of my motorcycle!!!!!

My plate number crashed into pieces...and scratched my bike's back lamp and the "black long thing to cover the tyre..." ( i don't know what this is called)..

Then, my mum and I stopped at the opposite site of the road, waiting for the lady to get down of her car...Guess what?? The lady just drove to the Hua Tai's road and escaped!!!! My mum asked me to ride into the Hua Tai's road and find for the car...Luckily, we found it!!! The car stopped behind the lane of the bakery shop. Huh!!!! The lady hide inside the shop ( don't know where, and she don't dare to come out i think....), just her family came out and paid the compensation to us..
What an unlucky day today!!! And I get shocked...for this is my first time hit from behind...huh...luckily, got my mum at my side...

Ghastly terrible moments...from now onwards until...

Want to know the reason??? Why I said terrible moments from every single moment now onwards? Because...I CAN'T WATCH MY TV AGAIN!!! Yesterday night, around 12.oo am, I went to switch on the TV...then IT'S BLUR!!! I thought the problem comes up with the wire linkage THERE ( I don't know what THAT thing is called- TV Booster??? I guess so...), as I had experienced this before. Before this, I really succeeded in making the TV worked again...So, I went off to get the screwdriver and scissors, wanna fixed up the thing...I cut the the wire and rejoined it again to THAT thing...At first, the attempt had succeeded!!! But again, it's off!!! Damn it...

I tried for the second time..until the former wire became shorter and shorter...still I couldn't see a miracle on my TV...Until I had to change completely the former wire with a new longer one, the screen was still BLUR!!! Really pissed off that time...sweated a lot...but I didn't get the fruit for my hard work...I GAVE UP!!!

SO, MY LIFE WILL BECOME MORE DREARY FROM NOW ONWARDS!!! Lifeless...I'm jerked of using my laptop repetitively...Hyhhhhh!!!! When will I get the chance to see the TV again??? I really don't know... :(

Safely Arrived...

Finally, I reached my home after staying out for two months...settling my things out there. Reflected again the past two months, it had not been an easy journey before everything is settled down fine and smoothly. For instance, we only got our VISA successfully after the second attempt. Travelling to KL just to made the VISA is not that easy, especially for those who are living far in another state. What about those Sarawakians? Have to dig out more money to buy the flight ticket. Anyway, thanks God for blessing us. We had made it.

Secondly, pre-departure briefing. I had missed out a lot of briefing organised by different parties, like the one from British Council and HILTON. Why? Because I'm not living in KL. Only manage to attend the COMPULSORY briefing organised by the Scholarship Division. Nevertheless, I still got a lot of information due to the briefing and some explanations from my friends.

And NOW, I'm home. Another one month before I start living in other people's country. For now, I'm quite worried on how to handle my luggages. There are a lot of things to bring, but MAS limits us only up to 20kg!!! Hand luggage- 5kg only!!! My goodness...Only my clothing I don't know how many kilos already. What am I suppose to do??? For me, they are all important stuffs!

MAS said that, if our luggages are overweight, we have to pay RM162 per kg! So expensive!!! Why the difference is so big compared to the domestic one? Make me curious...

Another thing...I wonder why not many people wearing masks even though H1N1 is very serious nowadays. I could only saw a few people wearing in the flight. For the others, ain't they afraid???
When I arrived at the airport, the next thing I need to do was catching a bus back to Sarikei. I thought they would have the 6.15pm bus service (I reached the bus station just on time), but they didn't. Maybe because it's just too few people going back to Sarikei at that time. As a result, I had to wait till 7.00pm for the next bus. Anyway, I'm glad that I got a bus to go back home today...:)

Home sweet home...My mum already waiting for me opposite the bus stop to welcome me..hehe..(actually help me to bring my luggages by bicycle...) haha...then we walk and walk...finally reached the gate! Yeah!

Last Night in JB...

If not mistaken, tonight is my last night staying in Johor Bharu before my departure to oversea...going to miss these moments...staying with my sis and little bro together...Really like peninsular here so much. Nevertheless, I miss my home back in Sarawak...especially when I remembered that my mum is going to stay alone after this..Home sweet home; and home is the best place for me...can do everything there...

Tomorrow is my flight back to my home. Going to step my feet in my own house at around 8.oo pm...Time is really flying too fast, particularly for beautiful moments...Another one month, I'm going to find my way to survive in a foreign country. Hopefully I can adapt myself to the surrounding there, and enjoy my study there..For those who are viewing my blog, please pray for me ok? Millions of thanks to all of you...:)

Pre-departure briefing...

Huh...at last the briefing was over..5 days!!! I want to go back already since the first day, as i didn't like camp that much...except my previous BTN camp...Most of the slots in the camp were a bit boring; some beneficial and some not. I expected to have KEMBARA in the camp, but they only gave us some outdoor games...

Not everything went on smoothly since the first day of our registration in the camp..especially when we submitted our forms. Till the second last day of our camp, we just realized that our forms were not complete!!! Oh my goodness...that kind of feeling was realy torturing me!! Fear all the times!!! I submitted my incomplete documents to one of the facilitator there, but she didn't put in the documents into the envelope for me!!! How scared I was at that time..as I didn't have enough extra photocopies for my documents.

As for my own group, I didn't enroll much in any group works. I didn't know why..feel intimidated when I didn't contribute much for my group..as I was the only chinese in the group...Hyhh...My mood was spoilt since the first day..I really dislike this camp..Keen to go back home...:(

Anyway, I enjoyed the facilities there, particularly my room! It's like a hotel!!! First class bedroom!! The food served there were also tasty, variety of them...Got one thing that i really appreciated...which was - I made two very good friends there!!! Chin Yee and Yee You...I really loved them..

Another thing that made me sad was about my friends..i don't know how to tell it, and i didn't want to tell so..that's all...

Yesterday.was the biggest shopping day for me...from 1.30pm till 6.30pm (for me is very LONG), just wandering inside the shopping mall there shopping for my list of things..and it was also my only day that i used up a big amount of money...especially when i see the receipt for my winter clothings...really a very tiring day...

And after that, had to come back and washed the winter clothings and others as well...(hand-wash)....really a fatigue day for me.. Today, i thought it would be a very sunny day but things seem to come the other way around...Weather is really unpredictable. It was raining in the morning, hopefully afternoon it won't...:(

Blackout...

This morning around 10.30-12.30pm...blackout time...it's hot in the room, so i went out to the mall for window shopping...at least there are air-conditioner inside there..hehe...
I bought some cooking materials back home..decided to make congee plus chicken and salted duck egg...:)

It's rainy day in the afternoon. Having nothing to do and bored, I went to the bathroom and took out the unused clothes and mop..wanna clean up the room...and then had a nice bath and took my lunch... Later on, online time! But I was sick of the same webpages that i opened everyday..checking my mail, friendster, facebook, updated my blog and so on...What's a boring day!!! Hyhhhhh........

Yesterday i couldn't sleep..don't know why...rolling on my bed to left and right, my eyes do not want to sleep yet..I kept thinking about many things..my future especially..going to study at overseas, I'm a bit afraid..

This afternoon, I chatted a lot with my mum...mostly about cooking a nice dish for tomorrow...it helps me to ease my tension and dizziness..plus my hunger...hahaha...every morning when i woke up, i will feel dizzy..always like that..maybe because of my health problems i think..haha
Once i get dizzy, i went back to the bed again..and sleep for several more hours.. :)

Today i went through some blogs..they did write a lot..and i did learn a lot...main intention here is want to boost up my vocabs...haha..hopefully as time passes, I can become a "REAL" blogger..

Hmmm...today's routine is like usual..but this morning, i got to wake up early..8 am..haha..i guess it is not 'early' to some people right? Skipping my breakfast (habits..), i went to the bank for dealing some 'business'...one type of ASM appear again.. As usual, many people waited outside the bank, just to become 'early birds'...(even though the bank haven't open yet)..

At last i got my number..Top ranking (the 6th person)..hahha..with my sister too..
BUT, we have to wait for almost 2 hours just to get it done!!!! (the verification takes a very VERY long time...that's why)..hyhhh...expected to eat our "breakfast"?? NO...It's lunch time already...huh...

It's worth it..compared to last time..people pushing one another, like no manners at all.. :(

A New Start..

4th August 2009 (Tuesday), 12.51pm - My first day to start my own blog...just want to figure out how it works or maybe sharing my views based on my personal experiences..I saw quite a number of my friends starting their own blogs already. So, not out-dated, I want to try too...
